We have been EMAS-certified since 1998 and review all environmentally relevant parameters in the company every year to identify opportunities for improvement. We publish the results annually in our environmental statement. EMAS certification is similar to ISO14001, which we also comply with, but goes much further and is one of the most demanding environmental management systems in Europe. It shows that we systematically record our environmental impact and continuously improve it.
The Charter for Sustainable Cleaning seal identifies detergents and cleaning agents that are manufactured in a more environmentally friendly manner according to defined sustainability criteria. It is awarded by A.I.S.E., the European industry association for soap, detergent, cleaning, and maintenance product manufacturers. We have been a member of the initiative since 2007 and were first assessed in 2008.
