At ALTENPFLEGE 2026 in Essen, visitors were able to experience DR.SCHNELL’s completely new look in person for the first time across a 67.5-square-meter space. Under the motto “Everything from a single source,” the Munich-based family business demonstrated how responsible and comprehensive cleaning and hygiene solutions make everyday life in senior care facilities more efficient, safer, and noticeably easier. 

“Everything from a single source” – With this guiding principle, DR.SCHNELL underscored its commitment at ALTENPFLEGE 2026 to being the reliable partner for comprehensive cleaning and hygiene solutions in the responsible and sustainable elder care industry – with high-quality products, practical training, and service that is not only professional but also personal.

The Altenpflege 2026 trade fair in Essen, held from April 21 to 23, 2026 under the patronage of Federal Health Minister Nina Warken, attracted more than 18,000 trade visitors and 500 exhibitors from 16 countries. The exchange at the DR.SCHNELL booth was correspondingly intense and lively. Here, industry experts, decision-makers, and care professionals came together to discuss individual challenges, share experiences, and jointly develop new ideas for the future of the industry. 

The energy generated when people with a genuine passion for their work come together was particularly palpable: curious questions, inspiring conversations, and spontaneous moments of insight. The DR.SCHNELL booth thus became a place where not only products were showcased—but where connections were made and ideas sparked that will have an impact far beyond the trade show.
